When leading on the acetate
(Or from it), as in, Head of State
Has tips on how to benefit
From Kingdom-layer while doing it:First tip – be open to the words
From other peers – when censor’s heard;
Take mostly tip from a how they act
You’ll beach your ship from tips like that.Their guidance comes with quality
But help is scarce – that’s plain to see;
Don’t emulate – do all things well –
So lend a hand – lift those who fell.Third tip – draw honor from our God
Not from your gallery – “That’s odd,”
Most people think, and it is true
Avoid what flattery can do.Each Institute’s insidious;
They oft expect wrong things from us,
And bind us with a ball and chain,
A sash of gold, or hope of gain.Now roles are nice when done quite well,
But turned on you make work-time hell;
Do tasks with Christ’s authority,
In Kingdom’s opportunity.Teach words Christ says, His this and that,
From Kingdom-layer – not “Teacher” tapped
By Christ to live as one below,
But from above; share what you know.For Father-God made Kingdom-layer;
Created you as Kingdom-player;
So don’t usurp God’s place with men,
As if God “Father” label lends.To serve is point of Kingdom-life,
So serve mankind, and do not fight
For place, or privilege of power;
Great leaders serve first, to last hour.Humility – tip number nine,
Exalted is – don’t try to shine;
The humble will exalted be
By folks who’ve found you’ve met some need.So by four-twelve and seven-two,
Equip the saints who join with you
To do the Kingdom-work from layer
Above the world – enrich world’s flavor.Thanks Lord for this.
