“And He Sat” (Matt.21:7) [Module #280]

When you enter Jordan River stop and rest;
When you enter focal city of your test,
Take a seat on donkey cloaks,
Take the praises from the folks,
But be aware who calls you “cursed”, who calls you “blessed”.

When you enter Jordan River on your way,
Stop and rest if it’s the blessed Sabbath day;
Pay your tithes and offering;
Life goes on, and now it’s spring;
Time and energy rise up now cost is paid.

Building slow is tough for all who’ve been involved;
Waiting’s such a heavy cost to get things solved;
Once the barrier is blown,
You return unto your home,
Seed gets planted now the soul-soil has been plowed.

Lord, You came here to the Jordan River’s cross –
Kedron Valley – but in essence past was cost –
Promised land was up ahead;
King of Kingdom – now we’re fed
By your bread and wine, those symbols to the lost.

Yes, indeed, we’re here on Beulah land once more;
You’ve provided for us all an entrance door;
Now we get to skate around
In this land where life abounds –
“In” not “of” the world beneath – with You as Lord.

Lord thanks for this.
