“The Landscaper” (Matt. 21:36) [Module #297 = 467]
It’s structuring the garden that I like –
The soil and rocks, the seed beds – weedy site
Is not where I prefer to plant my crops,
But key to me is laying garden plots.I asked that I might see a way to live
“Prosperity with righteousness” – to give
A way through paper-trail how they might go,
To blaze a trail through what I came to know.Approach I had in childhood-days is gone –
Spaghetti plate in face once I had won –
“Is there a better way?” I long to see
How best to gain, live out, prosperity.The first essential piece I’ve come to see
Is get on Kingdom-layer – you’ll then be free
To wonder all around without the blocks
(Which world erects to all improvements stop).Contempt is not the way Christ wants to go;
He’d rather take our time, help us to know
A better way – appeal to Kingdom-layer –
Thus activate some other Kingdom players.Lord, this is quite the task You’ve seen for me –
I like the double-play – set out to be
A righteous person in prosperity –
Not of it – from the Kingdom-layer I see.Thanks Lord for this.
