"Lazarus -  Walk In The Light" [Module #251] (John 11:49-51)

A life renewed, or rescued here,
Return to life of one held dear,
Means nothing to the larger scene,
So be on guard – for life of team –

Is where this fits into our lives;
Explains why others sharpen knives
To kill us, or to run us off –
Group-life prevails – while others scoff.

A pool of light is all we need –
Drives back the darkness – we can see
Sufficient to do life in pool;
Stay in it – for it is our school –

It moves along some obscure path;
We stay in it, sometimes we ask,
“Where are we – are we going to?
Sometimes He says – sometimes, “Stay cool”.

For me, this inter-active life
We live in Him, this pool of light
That moves along, and shows the way
Frees us from things folks do and say –

Which from the darkness threaten us;
They end our lives – like Lazarus –
But light in darkness pushes back
This dark so we no guidance lack.

Now anchor-point to Jesus shifts
Like checkers-player, He resists
The darkness – jumping over black
With white, in multi-jumps like that.

So as you walk in lighted pool,
Do not despair, but just stay cool;
Stay in His flashlight’s lighted way;
Hear Him as He shines down today.

Thanks Lord for this.
