“Lazarus – Alive Once More In Christ”

While coming down the hill that day in March,
From chat with Elder, got a brand-new start –
“It’s best you check local churches out;
Go talk with local clergy here about.

I did; doors opened fast, and I was in –
Three months in fact was time I would begin –
One month on holidays right at the start;
On my return the rest all fell apart.

That was, for me, “Let’s go back there again”;
Not me, this time, but Christ – His Spirit came
And bid me enter there to blow things up –
Release those folks in agriculture stuck.

It was not me, for I’d said no before;
Now here I was at local church’s door;
“Just trot along behind and you will see
Effects that happen with My Jubilee.”

I did – He did – Ka-boom! They were set free;
Spun out of there, spent time on bended knee;
“What’s this about, O Lord? That hurt a lot!
Besides, I lost credentials that I got.”

Unearthly silence followed – like the Psalm,
“Return unto thy rest, my soul,” begun
That night, as midnight hands ticked out the clock,
And left me, quite reluctant, with no talk.

I spun back home, enlightened in my dark;
I entered MRD once “tree” gave start
To hearing once again “economy” –
Two ditches and one road, enlightened me.

A brief agenda, wrap-up of the quest,
From modules to today at poet’s desk;
And now I’m hearing, “Lazarus come forth –
Ah! Quatro” – for indeed like in the North.

Well, Lord, I’m hearing, “Let all that stuff go,
Like Lazarus alive in land of snow;
New life awaited – that’s the last we hear
Of what he did once rising-time came near.

Okay, O Lord thanks for Your bidding word,
Your call-out from the tomb, which has been heard;
Help me shake off the grave-clothes in Your time;
Return to life on Your side of that line.

Thanks Lord for this
