"Lazarus -  Life Today In Christ" [Module #243] (John 11:27)

In Christ the facts of life and death
Irrelevant became – our text
Sums up our now-believing stance
About the Christ – no song and dance.

“You are the Christ, expected one;
You are of God, His only ‘Son’;
Into this world of daily life
You’ve come, shed light into our night.

On loop You guided all the way;
Returned to earth with us today,
For in Your name we do each task;
And for resource our Father ask.

You ask us interactively
If we, in fact, mean what we say
When we request that you assist –
“Are you in this, when heaven kissed?”

The depths of life are infinite;
We cannot fathom where we fit
In terms of life beyond our scope,
So do each day – faith, love, and hope.

The balance seen in daily life
Is not in us, but Paul was right –
It’s in the body-life indeed;
In that the Kingdom grows from seed.

Sometimes Christ brings some folks around
Who need assistance, they are found
To be confused, quite down-side-up;
“So flip them ’round – so life’s not tough”.

Lord as the dawn lights up this day,
Guide me within Your path, and stay
With me as I do “this and that” –
Not heavy lifting with ker-splat.

Thanks Lord for this.
