“The Kingdom’s Life” [Module # 218] (Luke 17:20-21)
The Kingdom’s life is not “out there”, because
It’s only real when we take up the cause,
And make God King of life – or “Boss”, we’d say,
If we were here to use terms of today.“God boss of life? With Spirit guiding way?
And Christ as Lord of all? – That’s what you say?
I think not so, for I the master am
Of all around; so take off with your spam.“You know – that crusade, pamphlet stuff
That clutters streets and channels far too much;
What good is it? A crutch to weak and halt;
And those who goof, and feel they are at fault.”So people say, so some move underground –
Believe, and walk their faith, quite often found
To be quite strong – not interested in hate
Shown by the others – ’nuff upon their plates.There’s Babel boundaries in society,
Reflected in the many groups, we see
In progress now, so “Please don’t colonize”,
Is plea of some, sad story real-ized.“The gospel has no place in RD work”;
“ The clergy-types are mostly first-class jerks”;
“It’s opiate, like lotteries today –
Just scraps of hope –‘can’t win if you don’t play’”.The “global” term is like the “Facebook” one –
Its features great, and utilized by some
For reasons different from inventing staff,
Who use results for selves, sit back and laugh.That is the context of our world today –
Great place to mentor folks along their way;
“Disciple”, using four – twelve – seven-two;
