“The Gift Of Discipling” [Module # 200] (Luke 21:38)
Encouragers – a flighty bunch,
Who skip around and like to lunch
And dine on tantalizing fare –
Mix interactions with despair.Without perceivers it’s a chore –
We see the “whats” and “whys” galore
For others’ tasks around our space,
But need a “what” and “why” to face –Ourselves, or we go off half-cocked;
We interact with things that rock;
Sad situation, yes, indeed –
A “what” and “why” indeed, we need.My what and why came in a dream –
A nightmare more – for vision keen
Came with a felt-need for response
To end-time chat, which comes but once.And module chasing – checking out
If “Interactive” spoke about
A way of life for all of us,
Or was it “circumstantial” just.Once it checked out as way of life,
For me, at least, my mind took flight,
As “satisficeing” is the way
My interaction starts to play.But here “discipling” played a role –
The T-R Prof said “Make it whole –
No slipping off to other tasks;
Push through; complete your question asked.”I did – and rich were my returns
On that investment – for I learned
The answer to my quest at last –
Though I saw slowly more than fast.So thank you T-R’s for your stance
When each of us performs your dance;
Discovers self against demands;
Encounters self in T-R lands.Thanks Lord for this.
