"Boy Scouts - Be Prepared"  [Module #182+] (Luke 12:47)

Once on the road assigned,
Unless, of course, you’re blind,
You’d better know your task –
Prepared now you’ve been asked.

You’ve left the known behind;
The loop has blown your mind;
Now gently you’ve been placed,
Get set – don’t be disgraced.

A challenge it will be,
To in your culture be –
A bubble in the foam,
As o’er the world you roam.

You’ll enter cultures there,
Express Christ’s loving care –
Salt, light, and leaven share
With those who need repair.

Each culture is just fine,
But do not cross the line;
A guest you are to each,
Once you’re there on the beach.

Like YWAM on the dock,
Three days supplies to walk
Into their culture’s world,
So enter in the swirl.

Three months to language learn,
Says book – you will not earn
Diploma for your wall,
But talk you may with all.

So don’t get beaten up
By life, for it is tough;
Prepare, or jump right in –
“Depart from now” – begin.

Thanks Lord for this.
