"Glory Through My Task Done Well" [John - Core Series] (John 17:1-5)
You saw, O Lord, Your task done well;
Brought glory to the Father – Hell
Might do its worst through life ahead;
The glory came once You were dead.So too for us as we survive,
Put up with things while we’re alive;
God has a task which we’re to do,
In doing which gives glory to –The Father, for the work’s not ours,
But Yours inside, through Spirit’s powers;
Folks see, “Not Stu” – sense power within,
Then songs of praise to God begin.Sure, we get creamed just like with You,
And rise once more, more work to do;
I see it now, appreciate
Your grace this day – please glory take.Thanks Lord for this.
