"Gift Alignment"
Hey! Get in there and focus, chum,
For it’s no time for one to run
In all directions here at last;
But rather, focus – this and that’s –Into one docket, project, book,
Whatever – do it, just don’t look
At all the options – dissipate –
But all attention concentrate –On one main task, sequentially;
And “Git ’er done”, chunk up and see
What can be grouped under one head;
Then push on through as you are led.In this, O Lord, I’m hearing, “Do
Encourager, with other two
As how you then encourage each
One also there upon the beach.”Lord, “burning hot” was way of life,
For me until that ’90 night
I took that test again, and saw
The “Giver” second –eeesch – quite raw!But then Encourager cooled off
As Giver rose – although a loss
Of energy, it balanced up;
Life settled down, not half so rough.Effect? Some actions moved ahead
As planted crops (though seed looked dead),
Of course there’s lots that grows right now,
Encouraged by my “Hope” and “How”.So Lord, though messy here right now,
Long since I’ve left off knowing how
To make it work – or what, or when –
My trust in you is strong since then.New phase is starting up I sense –
Mom sick with little self-defense;
You know this better than us all;
Grace us through wait, transition’s call.Thanks Lord for this.
