You will not take the hit tonight,
For you’ll all flee in certain flight;
But that’s okay, I’ll work through that,
For you’ll then lead the larger pack.The world is on collision course
With good – it’s all denied, but source
Of animosity to you,
Is essence of each point of view.It started back in Eden’s days,
When Adam saw rebellion pay
In short-term gain (though long-term pain) –
We’ve turned to Tree of Life again.They’ll do to you what you will see
Them carry out in ways with me;
You can’t expect they’ll love you, when
Your mentor’s goose is cooked by them.The Spirit-guide whom I will send,
Who’s guiding word you’ll comprehend,
Is just like Me – if you’ll obey
His guiding word, His words you’ll say.He’ll land you in a pot of stew
As you proclaim His guidance to
The worldly-folks whose point of view
Is tree of knowledge – actions too.So boundary-cross, and listen up
To where their culture’s not enough;
Then speak the truth that Spirit gives,
And give the part that they might live –Within their culture as God’s kids,
Which from their hearts all terror rids,
Thus letting joy of their small world
Explode, thus bringing calm to swirl.Thanks Lord for this.
