"For Real" [1st John series] (1st John 5:6-12)
“Christ was for real – no phantom He;
I know”, wrote John, “He worked with me;
Three years we walked our country’s roads,
And He relieved our weary loads.“Don’t say to me, ‘A phantom He’,
For He was real – for real indeed;
His body functions worked like ours;
The Spirit blessed His work with powers.“God testified to all mankind,
‘This is My Son, in Him you’ll find
Life of eternal quality,
Of this, I testify to thee’ –“So come to Him – He bids you be –
Give Him your load, so you can see
The race which God before you set,
His easy yoke will give you rest.”Thanks Lord for this.
