And so, O Lord, the end is here –
A journey I began when clear
To me back at my Sandy task,
When help from You I came and asked.For elders preached whenever asked;
No preps, just shared some aspect past
Which they’d found helpful in their life;
Shared now to help folks in their strife.When I inquired, they said, “Each grows
Through life; in time, the Bible knows,
Or parts of it – just share from heart;
Keep growing now you’ve got a start.That’s when I started “Run Thru” task;
A commentary helped – Just asked,
‘What relevance has this today?’
Took note of what was there displayed.”Lord, thank You for this treasure trove;
A surface glimpse is all I know
Of Scripture’s insights – how we’re blessed
By life folks knew and of here confessed.Lord help me as You’ve done to date,
To help the others who come late
Into this journey hear Your Word
Within the Scriptures – thus observe –The implications as they play
Out daily in their lives each day;
