When you are blocked from road ahead,
Here’s tips for you – as I’ve been fed
By others who’ve been blocked like me;
Some tips they gave to help me be –A person who says, “I don’t know”
To open up this world below
Which is confusing in its way,
But not impossible, each day:“Buy time; get detail; go in deep;
Take up some part of what you meet,
And follow where it takes you, then –
To surface you’ll return again.“Make educated guess that’s based
On former life – in any case,
Life’s not exact – rough-hewn it is,
In most of giver-finance biz.“Lay out the parts of whole you know,
As on to question next you go;
‘I’m part-way there, can you fill in
More detail now ’fore I begin?“ ‘For you’re the expert in this stuff;
I have a hunch, but not enough
To say for certain that’s the cause –
More intuition from what was’.“Sometimes it’s best to have some tools
For info-chasing – don’t be fooled
To thinking mind is all you need,
Good tools assist and increase speed.“From sheets, to notepads, pens, and tape,
Computers, networks, books that make
Things clear as far as mankind’s gone,
To lists of leads – they all belong –To those of us who info-chase;
Who find, as part of human race,
It fun to grasp what we don’t know,
Then to the others treasures show.”For me, three bases of my work:
Myself for, even if a jerk,
I’m here, available, and know

Of several here – and when my art
Displays some insight I have learned,
I watch – accepted? Is its spurned?And God – three aspects for this source:
There’s Scripture – journaled-time of course –
Experience (shown up above);
And prayer – God’s interactive love.So if you’re stuck, can’t move ahead,
Say, “I don’t know – please help”, be led
Into some avenue of truth,
