"Pointing Things Out" [ Module #125] (Luke 10: 23)
I asked before if You would show the gap
In knowledge, of the power-piece I lacked;
I’d read of power Scripture called the norm,
But knew it was not how this man performed.More like a car whose motor only limped,
Whose coat lacked gloss of turtle wax, they’d shipped
With tires below inflation point by far,
And drive-train just transmitted half the power.In every case the aspects I have seen
Which touched on power – and lack that this has been –
As I’ve passed on those insights to the rest,
I’ve seen in them such lack of power addressed.For blessed indeed are eyes which see around,
Where they before had looked, but had not found
A way to move on forward with new zip;
Now they could move with victory in it.The biggest chunks? Ephesians’ loop described;
And “Works of Power” Paul talked about besides;
The culture-basis shifted to the side;
And motivation-gifts I’d been denied.The source of all this? Shift to better road;
God’s intervention, shifting of the load;
My legacy released for Him to use;
And body-life, God’s Spirit there infused.Lord, blessed indeed are eyes which see these things,
As mine have been, as word each person brings,
Which helps me see what was not seen before –
The way to me You’ve opened up life’s door.navigation
