Christ is patient, stands and knocks,
Knowing that His lifestyle rocks;
He can let things go and be
There for all eternity –’Till the hunger in our hearts
Opens us to hear the part
Knocking plays – “You’ve got the latch,
Open wide or bolt it fast”.When we’re open, He comes in,
Notes the soul-soil, then begins
His long task of cleaning up
Sorry state of land that’s rough.Carries out task given to Him,
Once were called, and He begins –
Not to lose the least of these,
His wee kiddies whom He frees.This, today He does through folks,
Teaching, leading, telling jokes,
Mixing photos with our text,
Any way He thinks the best.If we’ll bide our time with Him,
He through us can then begin
To enrich the lives around –
Patiently results are found.Thanks Lord for this.
