"Mean-time"  [Module #98] (John 7:39b)

If we’re not ready, things wash by,
And artist’s works hang silent – why
Should we attend what has no use
To us – we need have no excuse.

Then too, we don’t need all the gas
To do our trip – let time elapse
Between our meals – chew and digest;
Such passing-by we don’t confess.

Percentage of our life as time,
Relieves experience that’s mine
Of time in whirl as I grow old,
Enslaved no more, I get quite bold.

If we let Christ ’cross over ice
Ahead of us, our trip is nice;
Sequence in time is great for us,
When Spirit comes is soon enough.

Our life in Christ extended is;
Our journeys weave through endless biz;
Leave past behind, new freedom’s in –
One step, one thought, let’s us begin.

I notice all the time, in fact,
Christ was around, He did each act
As Spirit-walker in the world,
But others still lived in their whirl.

So just relax – there’s lots to do;
Let life emerge and Spirit too;
If good enough in Jesus’ day,
Maturity in time’s the way.

Thanks Lord for this.
