"In His Name"  [Module #100] (John 7:40-44)

Nobody knew – they all best-guessed,
But that was fluff, a fluffy test;
Christ walked in His authority,
And zest of His alacrity.

“You’ve come here in His name I see,
So where is your alacrity?
Ka-boom is work that’s done through you,
Does that not shape your point of view?

One hundred years ago right now,
Some foreign prince was shot – that’s how
Nine million soldiers died in war –
Ka-boom indeed destroyed much more.

“But your Ka-boom sets people free;
Ka-boom through you is Jubilee
Of folks set free without a doubt,
To live what they’re to be about.

“And you as well – be what you are
In Him; become what once seemed far
Beyond your reach – your point of view
Available, through work you do.

Enough already – plug it in;
Your work fulfilled as done with Him,
And He through you, walked out each day
As you through photos have His say.

Thanks Lord for this.
