"Nine Months"   [Module # 78] (Mark 9:37-41; Luke 9:48-50)

Nine months it’s been since two-week basement work,
As we’ve moved on, with A.T. to the fore;
“I’ll not return to life as lived to date”,
I’d written then, and carried on some more.

Indeed, indeed – for life has changed, and we’ve
Pressed forward now in land of giver’s life;
We’ve held the course by grace, each day’s transpired,
And life’s progressed from day through quiet night.

’Till these events of grace through circumstance,
Converged indeed as blessing to their lives;
I marvel, Lord, co-workers in your world –
You interweave our many family ties.

For this is life, a rural life indeed,
Within an urban life – at least it seems;
“Live and let live” in all community
Breaks through again, above the mean and mean.

“If not against, then celebrate in Me –
Good fortune plays in favor of your lives;
Give me some room to work My miracles;
My works of power remove such earthly ties –

“As bind my children in their walks through life,
Releasing them to rise and flourish here;
Help them to sense a life of growth for all;
My grace for each beneath what now appears.”

Thanks Lord for this.
