"Your Glory Now"  [ Module #69]  (Matt. 16:27-28; Mark 8:38-9:1; Luke 9:26-27)

The loop-de-loop is glory now, whatever’s up ahead;
The loop-de-loop is power now, not just when we are dead;
I never “got it” – Christ, You said, “Some will not die before
They see Me in My kingdom – power, glory, angels – more”.

But now I get it – loop-de-loop – for no one knows the time
Or season when it all wraps up, when everything is fine;
Right now it’s not, it’s quite a mess, so here’s our guidance now –
“Don’t be ashamed of Me and I’ll reciprocate – here’s how –

“My kingdom is within you, folks, or can be if you want;
But it has costs – all life before – if life in Me you flaunt;
For worldly-ways are different from your life post loop-de-loop;
So when you walk My kingdom’s ways you’ll end up in the soup.”

So now I get it – glory’s ours right now, from here on in;
And power’s to the people starting now as we begin;
And angel-helpers hovering ’round, each at Your beck and call;
“Don’t worry ’bout tomorrow’s scene; life’s order’s somewhat tall”.

“Thy kingdom come” is ’bout our life on planet earth with You;
Not just pie in the sky for us, but life right here, renewed;
Like changes in my point of view once culture-code was found –
Their little church became renewed – great place to be around.

Our attitudes are hard to hide, despite our culture’s code;
But once You show us how to live, there is a lighter load;
It matters not how they do life in any local church,
Once it is known, in You, O Lord, we’re no more in the lurch.

For then we know just what to do, the problem’s not with You,
But with not understanding our locale for work we do;
For what to do is local, and is lived a local way –
Not just in heaven for later on, but here and now – today.

Thanks Lord, for this.
