"Volatility" [Module #66] (Matt. 15:21-31; Mk.8:1-27; Luke 12:1)
When working in a factory of nitroglycerin,
Be careful not to smoke inside, remember what’s unseen
Can blow you all to kingdom come if you don’t watch your step;
Igniting box of fireworks – kaboom is what you’ll get.That’s Jesus Christ in Galilee, just heading into the third
Year of His work, His final one, His life was quite absurd –
Some folks said “yea”, some others “nay”, some others in between;
Quite volatile the context was, like nitroglycerin.’Twas Nobel who discovered how to harness up that stuff;
’Till then it was too volatile, a tiny bit enough
To blow things up, but look at it and it would be set off;
Fred Nobel mixed it with some stuff, then stable as a rock.So Jesus said, “Let’s go from here and take a holiday;
Get out of Dodge; let things cool down; good time to be away;
And we can take our cue from Him, and ease back on the spark,
When mentoring within that mix, lest we explosion start.Thanks Lord for this.
