“Subset Listing Of Poems Reflecting On Biblical References to the Theme Of ‘Light’ To Enrich Effective [Photo-] Ministry ”
These poems are reflections on 30 Biblical references to the theme of light found in a stardard concordance to the Bible. Although a full concordance such as Strong's Exhaustive Concordance could have been used, the smaller selection was deemed sufficient in order to provide an initial model for this sort of photographic exercise.
Once the initial reference was looked up and notes taken on it, cross-references from marginal notes in the Bible and other sources were listed and followed up, with notes made on initial observations of each of them.
After a period of time, each of these pages of notes and reflections were used as a basis for a poem in order to draw out some theme from the many possibilities on that general head.
This set of notes, and in particular the resulting poem, will then form a basis for photographic handling of the same theme or material, and the material will be melded together.
The purpose of this exercise is to test out the process as a possible basis for a group activity, using a photographic-centered approach to Bible exploration and reflection.
NOTE: Series suspended temporarily in order to investigate the use of this theme in the generation of a novel suplimenting the New Glosop series Of Novels.
