The question rose about the way
The chicken golden eggs would lay;
Our focus how to expedite
Their quick removal now was right.A moment's thought within his brain,
Brought forth the way the chicken came
To laying moment – just like sex –
A mix of content bred the next."Cross-fertilize" had quick emerged
As process – when he spoke, I heard
That shifting sound of grinding gears,
Machine now moved just like the years –When life had been a simple sport
Of thinking, living, going to work;
Then life got complex, quite involved,
He'd not observed his problems solved.Oh yes, there'd been some insights spun
Within the context, as he'd come
Up through the ranks (for thought is thought),
But how had he these insights got?"There's four or five at any time,
Which roll around within my mind
Here in my space-ship as I work,
Spun off, the eggs, which then just lurk –"In corners of my ship and mind;
Soon other eggs (same size and kind)
Appear and clutter up my shop;
Removal – flow – (which now I've got) –"Is central, lest my mind get plugged
With eggs unused – in past I shrugged
Them off – how stupid people are,
There's value they don't take (so far)".What concepts make the current five,
Which serve to keep your mind alive?
"One's energy – lots play with that –
Like you, I'm satisfaction's cat."The second draws construction themes
(That's additive, the type I mean);
Third, transport of our energy;
The fourth rounds out the other three –In science, ‘change of state’, that's tied
To motion, energy, and why
It seems to be all of one piece –
These captivate my mind at least.The fifth is from a different type
Of human thought – why humans like
Two ways to do their work these days –
Both pyramid, and flat-field ways."My guess it's likely three or four;
I drop the fifth – can't maintain more;
It's not I work one field within –
A boundary spanner's what I've been."I pull ideas towards the cash;
That's my concern – drives questions asked;
Reflection on the stars is key –
I bridge such thoughts to feeding me."That's when a ‘Golden egg’ roles out,
Perceiver's insights – I've no doubt
They are of use, that cash can flow
If folks these Golden eggs could know."When I drop down to shorter span
Of time – or shift my gifts as man,
Results are shoddy – I need team
To make the eggs be what I mean."By-products – that's the eggs of gold –
Are full of life – what I behold –
I always said from garbage heap
I could my wife and family keep.Now I have chance to live that way –
The Internet is part I'd say –
But here in Westman I can see
A better life for all could be.navigation
