Does Shabbat give de-coding clue
Of what You meant ’bout what to do?
Eight hours a day, like Shabbat rest
Expanded out, then all the rest?That is, approach it down-side-up:
Ap. Ministry – that is the stuff
I’d like to do, and do of course,
But by-the-by, without the force –That makes things happen, more flow,
With paper-trail from which I know
That I’ve been there – like vapor trail –
Right-brain, then left, unlike a sail –Which moves a ship along its way.
Ephemeral – flag blowing, say –
We see the movement, mark its flow,
Thus movements of the wind we know.And then, decoding tribal bands,
Or TCK’s within our lands,
So they can build more consciously –
Eyes opened wide as now they see.Add into that domestic tasks,
And focal points, like what is asked,
That makes a day’s “on” time, they say –
Intentional, (intense that way).But what if life worked down-side-up –
Until it’s flipped, the road is rough?
(Spend focused time on pix my friend,
The rest gets done – enabled then).That would be Ashern certainly,
For randomness is plain to see;
But You come first, I walk Your way,
With Shabbat rest lived out each day.My yoke is easy’s what You said;
You spoke to me, I know you said,
“By faith walk in economy,
If you’ll go there successfully”.Like Watchman Nee – “Walk sitting down
That way you’ll stand on holy ground”.
Two-thirds for what you like to do;
One-third is Shabbat rest to you.That changes prayer-time’s holy talk
To picture taking’s holy walk;
Like dollars sent for leprosy –
One leper heals apart from me.To live my life as you direct,
And trust that way will intersect
With what You wish to do each day
Through me – and that the joyful way –Is down-side-up, most certainly
That part is lived most practically;
It raises questions fit for me,
And does it all quite randomly.Lord, thanks for blessed Shabbat rest
Expanding now, renewing zest
For living in this troubled land
With joy – that I may under-stand.navigation
