Change Of Address
Such a simple little thought,
Which is what I find I’ve got,
Now I see for real the locus of our lives;
Well located down below,
And with all I’d come to know,
Hard to live a life seen clearly with my eyes.Then in reading Watchman Nee,
Charting out to help me see,
I saw clearly that I lived my life below;
When in fact I lived upstairs,
To my home I then repaired,
All these people milling ’round and some I know.What a difference it makes,
Changed locale is all that takes
To find 'freedom of the city' in this town;
Doesn’t matter what I do,
Freed me up to be with you,
Silly me for hanging here, not looking ’round.When we’re locused in our home,
There’s no need for us to roam,
We just hold it all so lightly in our hands;
Celebrate this gorgeous place,
As a part of human race,
Doesn’t matter, here or there, where someone stands.Then the power that You give,
As we in Your presence live,
Makes more sense, and Your resources ebb and flow;
For they are for life above,
As we carry out Your love,
Kingdom-life up there now exercised below.navigation
