Startup
Okay, O Lord, let’s start it up,
As in Your day, You took Your cup
And drank it – I can do that much,
Despite confusion, fog, and such.I see enough to move ahead,
These years I’ve got before I’m dead;
Much better live here on my feet,
Than dead to all in life so sweet.Ap. Ministry I prototype
As paradigm; to do it right
I leave a paper trail behind
Of all the things which cross my mind.But locus for that central task,
And central to the things I ask –
Eight hours a day photography
Of all the stuff you’ve shown to me.Lord, thanks for that new form of art
To prototype – a way to start
To share with others – words and pix,
Like magazines – creative mix.But laid out still in novel form
In newer trail, not one that’s worn,
With software I now have on hand,
With uptake flow from Echoland.Both print and line – and on the net,
A blend of words and pictures, yet
The essence still of all those forms –
Establishing a newer norm.Lord thanks for this, it makes my day;
It offers me a newer way
To do the parts I could not do –
Indeed a treasured gift from you.navigation
