And Then It Happened

We tidied up the parts which lay undone,
Then drew the Starship (chicken driven one),
With CASIL-shuttle hovering in space,
As it life-giving rendezvous gave chase.

And far below a complex Docking-Zone,
Which future Golden eggs would call their home;
We blocked a rough place-holder for that part,
But somehow all this other lacked a heart.

Ezekiel, man of God, once had a dream
Of friends and his relations it would seem,
Who’d died defending home and Fatherland;
Remains of whom were bones which could not stand.

God asked, “What do you think of sights like this?
Can these bones live, or is this all there is?
Go prophesy: ‘O bones rise up today’,
For I will give them life, and make a way.

Ezekiel turned and spoke unto the bones,
Which rose up at his words, in garbage zone;
But still there was no spirit ‘neath the flesh;
God breathed His life into them nonetheless.

That story has been used for many years;
As yesterday once more, it now appears,
As we checked out the work which had been done,
He turned and spoke such words through oldest son.

He said, “Take Mamascatch and bring it in;
Without its power this work will not begin;
For it’s the key to making all this flow;
Without a motor, rocket ships don’t go.

I never see the “what” and “why” in life;
(The how’s like butter to a heated knife);
As I had added in my ‘process’ part,
He added ‘what’ and ‘why’ which warmed my heart.

A lunch-appointment wrapped our meeting up;
A need expressed on e-mail was not luck,
For Mamascatch Communications is
Where essence of my ministry still lives.

To mediate, folks make an equal split,
But on the truth they seldom all insist;
Sometimes communications offers more –
A broader life which all can then explore.

The problem with the Christian way of life?
It’s seldom tried, especially in strife
But Mamascatch means “Oh Wow – look at this!”
In Cree – the other side to Creenglish bliss.

Incorporated bodies each have parts
Connected up, but boundaries stop and start
The flow of life from one part to the next;
Thus each part lives in peace, and are not vexed.

What makes it work? A change from ‘take’ to ‘give’;
A boundary which lets each person live;
A need for what the other gifts can bring
To balance out our lives – so all can sing.
