Four Questions: Number Two – Are You Average?
Well then, question two my friend:
“Would you say you’re average then?
In a range of ‘not too bad,
With some days that make you glad'?“As a teacher – know your stuff?
Like to learn, and share that much?
Take the wayward and the lost,
Help them grow despite the cost?“Sailor – do you sail your ship?
Have your ticket? Try to slip
Out for sailing when you can?
In folks eyes, ‘a sailor man’?“Father – do you love your kids?
Treat each fairly as each bids
You to help to adulthood?
Help each see that life is good?“Husband – bring the bacon home?
Do your best midst swirl and foam
Making up what is for most
‘Married life’ with teenage host?“Member of your church – what say?
Mean (I mean the ‘average’ way)?
Do your part – Time? Talent? Cash?
Friends with some where friendships last?“Skill and wisdom; life and zest –
Average guy? Okay – not best?
‘Who needs best in living biz –
Life is good, as living is’?“In the mid-range – not the worst?
‘Teacher, sailor, family, church –
All have ups and downs for sure,
Not the trash, and not all pure’?”What’s your range? How do you feel
When your estimate is real?
Life is tough with teenage kids –
Where are you twixt base and lids?navigation
