Fear
Do I embrace this swirl of life around me,
As I step in the river from the shore?
Temptation to return to bank is strongest,
As I now leave the quiet I adore.It’s not that life of quietude is pleasant,
It’s not – for it’s frustrating to the max;
But what is known brings comfort to my spirit,
Out in the swirl, how now will I relax?But soon the fear dissolves, and zest replaces;
New issues rise; new challenges I see;
I leave behind the comfort of old issues,
Embracing life’s new context to be me.navigation
