Forth Stage Of Change – Trial Run
Think I will step out and try this approach;
I will say nothing – avoid their reproach;
If it helps living, then all fine and good,
If it's a failure – then I've understood.People think one thing, and others the next,
Think I'm progressing, then seem quite perplexed;
Guess I'll be quiet, not tell of attempts,
Lest I draw fire and draw their contempt.Can't people see that I'm trying things out?
Why do they think that I've not any doubt?
I never said these attempts were the end,
I want the package my problem will mend.Courage to step out and try out my plan,
Needs some support for I think that I can
Work out my problem and see victory –
Testing, selecting a package for me.I get excited about my success,
Somewhat deflated when it's not the best,
But from the trash-heap when things don't work out
Come all the pieces – success brings a shout!Here in this process commitment takes place,
This is the stage where I need so much grace;
Things are much better than ever before,
I must commit if there'll ever be more.Vigils, and learning, and trying things out,
Moments of courage, and ebb-tides of doubt;
Fragile my feelings as I soldier on,
Words of encouragement grace me along.Things are so fragile, for things are so new,
Moving from theory to the actions I do;
Slowly, so slowly, I pick out my course,
Some things work for me, resolve my remorse.Now at the end of this process of trial,
I've got a plan I'll plug-in for a while;
No doubt I'll tweak it, adapt over time,
Now I've a package I've tried out – its mine.navigation
