The Flow Of Implementation

Things which I need now life has settled down,
Rise up in me as now I seed the ground;
Each season's work builds for a future day,
Crops come and go, and seasons have their way.

First thrills subside, as I fall into step,
I'm more content, as hopes and dreams are met;
Slower to jump at each emerging flare,
This chosen path is my selected dare.

Some things in life require a long-term view;
Steady my pace as I proceed with you;
Our kids grow up, new workers take our place;
Wisdom flows out in quiet words of grace.

Death and decay are part of life for us –
Barns need repair, old ways just so much fuss;
Then as I watch the young folk seize the torch,
One vacant chair remains here on the porch.

Things have been good since change I made in life;
Things settled down, maturity through strife.
It's taken time, my life is rich indeed,
This stage in life’s not fraught with constant need.
