The World Around
In world around since Eden's fall
The one who's winning takes it all;
But not so life in Christ I see
For, “Win or lose, take all” says He.“In Me a loss can be a win
Once road of life you first begin;
For best of wisdom comes from there
The winner's thoughts just can't compare.“Humility is lodged in Me”
Says One who died at thirty-three;
“To lose for others is a win”
Says life cut short – “now you begin”.“All life is mine”, says One above
“Designed at best to pour out love;
So take it up, hold fingers loose,
Take hold my hand, I'll show the route.“For sometimes life is holding on;
Sometimes it's letting go what's gone;
Abundant giving, good restraint –
Both intermix to picture paint.“But knowing when to hold or yield
As battle rages on the field,
Has overtones of cosmic blend –
That's when My wisdom insights lend.“For winning always self to save
From time of birth till time most grave,
Is only partly true for all –
We're made as one before the fall.“Till all have made it, no-one's won
And winner taking all's no fun;
Come join Me living as designed –
Take all – put win or loss from mind.navigation
