Two Ways
Nice job – gave thanks in quiet way
To giver-type, well done, I'd say.
Encourager I am at best
But giver-gift in strength is next.I was concerned – you'll need those guys
Though actions grate, their ways disguised
Are often misconstrued by folks –
“Say thanks in innuendo, jokes –“But don't their cover below or you'll
See no more resource, cash, or jewel;
Give thanks in quiet, where they live
That they can help some others live”.But she was also in her way
Quite right to words of kindness say,
For I, encourager by gift,
Need feedback, that my spirits lift.So last night at the Spirit’s nudge
She said her peace, and did not fudge
Her feelings, or the context bleak,
Of help received which we all seek. Her words an antidote to me –
A gift from God, “Stu don't you see?
An open heart permission gives –
My words then enter where folks live.”So, bless you both, entwined in-deed
God’s words addressed your family's need.
To walk this road – such grace it's been
His knock, you opened, He came in.navigation
