You want to know what's going on?
Just watch the flow of cash;
You'll see why people poke along
While other people dash.

Procrastination's not just one
But many causal types:
Like indecision; laziness;
Returning rate; and place;

Like inner tempo; animus;
Recalcitrance; and Grace;
Retaliation; work to rule;
The unions measured pace.

Best time’s when one's tacticians call
For seeing whites of eyes;
Or strategy deceives them all
To make attacks surprise.

For me it's lining up my ducks
To maximize return;
Resources tight, things run amok,
I hate to options burn.

When changes come and pull the base
From under what I thought,
I shut right down, assess the case,
Proceed then as I ought.

I push a broad front ’cross the field,
Bring stragglers from the rear,
Cash maximize, I will not yield,
Don't make my object clear.

For other folks just love to put
A stick in other's spokes
In spite, or jealous pique, to hook
My carriage, twisted jokes.

I also suffer blindness to
The need for other gifts;
I wish that I could get those views
And thus success-rate lift.

I'm not unique, it's cash that's used
To lubricate the snags;
So watch how cash is plied and viewed –
You'll see where project sags.

Perhaps there is a different way
To bring the others in,
And make for project harmony
Midst weaknesses and sin.

Administrators push right through;
Compassion people smile;
Perceivers have the big gun view;
While teachers read things new;

Encouragers find other ways;
And givers ply their cash;
While servers plod traditions day
Few other giftings ask.

Perhaps my problem is a shift
From research now to acts;
Now things have changed I find my gifts
Don't match the present task.

I'm casting round to pick up clues
From insights I've received;
Successful ways the righteous used –
Prosperity indeed

So maybe lock some changes in
Don't change things all one time;
Just do what works, let work begin
And things will work out fine.

Let Shabbat stay on Saturday
Like when you went to ’Peg;
The other six, make actions pay,
Completing what you say.

Push to completion central core,
One task complete each day;
Don't try to do it cheap na more –
Push through a different way.
