Each Day

I rise each day and pray for you
The least it is that I can do;
Not least important, not by far,
But least, as most that's possible.

I have this funny way I pray
Not have I much that I can say
So leave myself at pleasure Yours
And open stay to change of course.

As all of us are intertwined
In six degrees of humankind,
No matter what I say or do
It ripples back and touches you.

It's said that argon in each breath
In two years is inside the rest;
So linked with all, today, before,
We touch all time forevermore.

Sometimes I'm able to reach out
And do some task, ’gainst evil shout,
That on your life specifically
Gives direct touch to you from me.

But mostly that's not possible –
Our world's complex, we're on the go;
But as this morning dawns today
This love and care I send your way.
