I think if I was to do life over again I might seriously consider being a small-time Mennonite Farmer. There is something about the soil-vegetation-animal cycle of growth and the economic return on that dynamic that fascinates me. It is for me the very engine of our economic growth. without that, our economy would collapse. Sometimes I go down the cattle auction and watch. To me it is like being on a great ship, and going down into the engine room periodically just to watch things operate.Beyond that, a passing interest in the nature of the unseen mechanism just below our skin, and perhaps a few pets around the house, I have not much interest in zoology.
